Hints of crushed blueberries and fresh leather expose the nose to the fifty percent Mourvedre used in the wine. Fresh cracked black pepper and smoked meats and ripe black berries treat the nose to the Syrah portion of this blend. When tasted the seamless texture is a testament to the restraint used while making this wine. High acid combine with chalky tannins to add complexity. The ripe black fruit such as compote of blueberries and blackberries help create a soft texture. The long lasting delicate finish on this shows how ripe fruit with a firm structure create perfect balance.
