Clavo Cellars believes in the value of sustainable practices. Three of the vineyards that we buy fruit from are Sustainability In Practice (SIP) certified or are in progress of becoming certified through the Central Coast Vineyard Team (CCVT). Their system provides standards and verification of a vineyard’s attention to the environment, energy & water conservation, habitat conservation, and pest management. It also allows for protection of natural and human resources, it gives a comprehensive evaluation of the entire wine grape growing operation.
